Cobham Heritage Day
organised by the Cobham Conservation & Heritage Trust

Heritage Day Stallholders

A key element of Cobham Heritage Day is the quality and number of stallholders we attract. Heritage Day is designed to be a family-friendly fun day with a village fair atmosphere and having a varied collection of stalls for our visitors is key.

For this reason we encourage local arts, crafts, bakers, charities and small businesses to take a stall to sell or promote their goods and services. We endeavour to maintain a good mix of stalls and will limit the number of similar stalls as we feel necessary. Pitches are allocated by the organisers but if there are special circumstances and this is stated on the application form, we will endeavour to accommodate where we can.

Stallholder Pitches

Stalls are available in Church Street, the St Andrew's Church Yard and the Leg O'Mutton Field. There is very little opportunity to provide electrical power or water so stallholders must make their own arrangements where necessary. Stallholders are responsible for providing their own stalls, tables, gazebos, coats and wet weather gear, etc.

Pitches are nominally 3m by 3m although some are smaller or larger depending on their location. Most pitches are on grass except for pitches in Church Street or the Church Gate House access road.

Pitch Charges

The charge for a standard 3m by 3m pitch is shown below:

 Charity or Local Club  £15
 All Other Stallholders   £50

Public Liability Insurance

All stallholders must hold adequate Public Liability Insurance for their activities while at the event.

You will be required to provide your Public Liability Certificate (NOT your Employer's Liability) when your application is confirmed. If you are a small organisation and do not have insurance but would like to take advantage of the CCHT Events Insurance policy at a cost of £20, please signify this by signing in the appropriate place on your application form.

If we do not have evidence that you have insurance (and a risk assessment if needed) then unfortunately you will not be able to participate in Heritage Day.

Applying for a Stallholder Pitch

Pitch applications can be made from mid-May before each year's Heritage Day, applications cannot be taken before May.

Pitches are allocated at the discretion of the organisers. Stallholders will be sent a welcome pack (normally by email where appropriate) a week before Heritage Day which will include details of the stallholder's assigned “Pitch” plus other important instructions to be followed on the day.

To apply:

  1. Read our terms and conditions here (or on the reverse of the application form)
  2. Download the application form via the button below
  3. Complete the application form

Return the application form. When your application is confirmed you will receive an invoice which must be paid within 15 days of receipt to secure a pitch. At the same time you must send a copy of your Public Liability Insurance unless taking CCHT insurance.
